Ervist Group of Companies Presented Proprietary Russian Security Solutions for Industrial Hazards at OIL TERMINAL 2013 Congress

Moscow, November 25, 2013 –  Ervist Group of Companies - the leading Russian provider of products and security solutions for industrial special hazards and fire alarm systems – presented latest proprietary Russian security solutions for Industrial hazards at  VIII International Congress on transportation, storage & transshipment of crude oil, liquefied gases and oil products "OIL TERMINAL 2013".  The Congress was staged  on November 21-22 in St. Petersburg. Over 250 representatives of oil trading companies, oil terminals, Russian and European ports, refineries and oil storage farms from all over the world, as well as Russian federal authorities participated.

“Industrial Security issues are one of the most demanding for Russia,”- states Mikhail Rukin, Member of Committee on Security of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Founder and General Director of Ervist Group - “Unfortunately, currently security in Oil and Gas in Russia is mostly covered by foreign-made products and solutions. We have decided to fill in the information vacuum and communicate to top managers and to practitioners of industry the latest domestic developments – in many cases they are not inferior to foreign ones, and, in some – are superior”.

Mikhail Rukin delivered a presentation at the Conference "Innovative Technologies & Equipment for Tank Farms & Oil Terminals" where he described Russian solution for the industry: "Yauza-Ex" product line and its component parts, "Elan" Linear Heat Fire Detector and others. All these are specifically designed and manufactured for operations and instantaneous fire detection – this is extremely important for Oil and Gas facilities.

Ervist Group’s booth at the Exhibition "Tank Farms and Liquid Bulk Terminals" attracted undivided attention of both top executives and technical directors – for the first time they were presented with an opportunity to compare their existing operations (based on foreign manufacturers’ products) with the Russian ones. As an example, they were impressed with efficiency of "Elan" Linear Heat Fire Detector – it is five times cheaper than the foreign peer’s product, while the qualitative characteristics are far superior. Technical experts highly appraised Spectron-601 IR/UV detector, an integral part of "Yauza-Ex" product line that was recently awarded the Security Reference Award at SFITEX Security Show.

“It was indeed unexpected for us to see presentation of Ervist security systems at the Congress of this type”, - states Alexey Zakhmatov, Deputy Chief Engineer for Security, SPETSMORNEFTEPORT UST-LUGA Port, - “Nevertheless, I guess I would not be mistaken if I express the general opinion of all participants - such display of a Russian technical vision that is transformed into fire security systems, is extremely valuable for our business.  Security is vital for our existence.”

The management of Ervist Group believes that participation in VIII International Congress "OIL TERMINAL 2013" was exceptionally advantageous both for experts of Oil and Gas Industry and for designers and developers of security systems – this is our input into ensuring Industrial Security of Russia.
